Today is even better as she has a marvelous giveaway.

It's really nice of her to do this with Onecklaces.
So one of us will be the lucky one on 08-12.
Best of luck.

Bead Hoaders hop
Sorry for late posting but it's still the 20th. My 97 year old Uncle was ill and passed away last night. Not an excuse just part of the reason for the delayed posting.
My thanks to Lori for this marvelous idea.
Getting some done is better than none.
The top one is for a co-worker who has a penchant for red and animal stripes.
The middle one is Raven stealing the Moon, the moon is MoP and Labradorite beads.
The bottom one, a friend gave me the focal and asked me to make her a necklace.
So here are the pieces I managed to complete:

Micro-macrame
So I have a new interest - I want to learn micro-macrame because I think it would lend itself well to creating items for men. That said - there's a great giveaway - the bracelet kit and the on-line class - I might be the lucky one.

Bead Hoarders Blog Hop
Yep - about time I used some of those extra special pretty beads.
After all - this is Here Bead Dragons and I do tend to save the prettiest ones
So Lori Anderson came up with this great idea (she has lots of great ideas)
http://www.prettythingsblog.com/2013/06/bead-hoarders-blog-hop-sign-ups-are-open.html
So July 20th will be a reveal - meanwhile enjoy Lori's pretties, while I go take some pictures of mine.
And yes, this is in pink because pink is Lori's color.

Bead Soup VII reveal
Only one Bead Soup this year but Lori has done a fantastic job of organizing and setting up partners. It's almost midnight here and I am in the first reveal for March 30 - so here is my piece ...
The beautiful beads are from my partner Rachel Stanley. I tend to wear more bracelets than necklaces and really wanted a two stand bracelet.
On this bracelet I did wire guards at both ends but only added split rings at one end. Next bracelet will have split rings on both ends and that makes it a lot easier to crimp the wire. I used the magical crimp pliers so my crimp beads are round.
The nice thing about bead soup is that it makes me look at how I have been making things and want to improve my designs for a more polished, finished look.
Hopefully I have the link working www.BeadSoupBlogParty.com so that you can go to other participants in Bead Soup VII.
And Lori - thanks again - I really enjoy these exchanges.
